Club up twice hitting into the wind, or down twice hitting with the wind! It was a very windy day at Southern Dunes when the Raider Linksters teed off with Southport. With wind gusts easily in the 30 mph range, conditions were less than favorable, but the Raiders were able to pull out a 162-180 victory over the Cardinals of Southport. Leading the Raiders’ with his fourth medalist round of the season was Aaron “Noonan” Lynch, firing a three over par 37. Close behind Lynch were Kevin Tillery with a 40, “Downtown” Austin Brown with a 42, and “Big” Ben Szeszycki with a 43.

The Raiders now get a couple of days off before the final two matches of the season at Eagle Creek next week. Monday they take on Pike, and Wednesday is against Beech Grove. At the final home match on Wednesday, we will celebrate the contributions of our three seniors.
