Multiple Teams · Former Raider WR Tyrone Walker stands out with the Green Bay Packers

3rd and 30

In the 2008 Class State championship game, Tyrone Walker helped Cardinal Ritter overcome adversity and beat reigning Class A power Sheridan High School. He is reminded of the 3rd and 30 play when he visits with Coach Hunt and the Cardinal Ritter coaching staff. Tyrone went on to have a great college career at Illinois State. He set several of the Redbirds all time receiving records. He recently made his way back to root on this year’s team at a local 7-on-7 tournament in Brownsburg, IN. We hope we can provide him with some more newspaper articles to read while he is in Green Bay. One of his greatest accomplishments off the field was graduating from college in three and half years from Illinois State. He now has taken his talents to the next level. He is trying to prove that talent will take people a long way but when you combine that with hard work, the sky is the limit. Read up on some of his recent performances.
