Ritter Cross Country got a strong start on Tuesday August 20, at the Beech Grove Meet. The boys varsity team placed first with 27 points outscoring the second place team by 3 to 1. All 6 varsity runners placed in the top 13 and Jona Odell came in first with a comfortable lead and a time of 17:30. The girls varsity placed a solid third with a strong performance from freshman Kendall Blake in her first race for CR, placing 5th with a time of 23:59. The JV teams also had strong starts, including a first place from Cameron Walton for the JV boys.
