Boys Junior Varsity Soccer, Boys Varsity Soccer · Pike Beats Boys Soccer 2 – 0

After playing their first five games on the road, the boy’s soccer team returned home to play   5A (1A Soccer)  Pike High School losing 2 – 0.  The match was even until 7:27 was left in the game when the Red Devils scored their second goal of the game on a nice cross and finish.  Pike’s first goal was at the 23:20 minute of the first half on a penalty kick.  The loss even’s the Raiders record to 3 – 3

Goalie Danny Kivett had 10 saves.   On a good note, all of the Cardinal Ritter injured players returned to the field tonight.  This included senior captain Caleb Hernandez, sophomore Nico Ferri, and junior Brendon Clark.

The boys’ JV soccer team also played Pike High School at home tonight.  Like the varsity the Raider JV lost 2 – 0.  After the game the Red Devil coaching staff said they had been outplayed and if they Raiders had capitalized on their opportunities the score would have ended up in favor of the Raiders who just could not finish once again.
