The Cardinal Ritter boys swimming and diving team finished in second place in the Indiana Crossroads Conference tournament at Beech Grove on Saturday. The boys had a nice showing finishing with 117 total team points. They beat Park Tudor (79), Scecina (11) and rival Speedway (89), but fell short to Beech Grove who scored a 181.
The boys started off the meet with Wesley Kochell swimming a personal best time & third place finish in the 200 Free. Mike Isakson finished fourth in the same race with a personal best time. Senior Matthew Mark, Juniors Jacob Ludlow & Sam Kinnett finished 1,2,3 in the 200 Individual Medley. Senior Griffin Koester was able to place first in the 1 meter diving. Jacob Ludlow & Sam Kinnett were able to place 3-4 in the 100 Fly while Wesley Kochell swam another PR in the 500, placing third. Juniors Lance Spreacker & Noah Bush placed 6th &7th swimming personal best times.
