An early lead helped propel the Lady Raiders to victory. The Raiders scored on a single by Jenna “Pure Athlete” Purichia, a single by Annie “The Natural” Kluemper, a double by Taylor “The Falcon” Faulkenberg, and a home run by Chloe “Clutch” Olejnik in the second inning.

Lapel made it interesting in the 6th by battling back and brought the score to 11-12. Raiders answered back and scored seven runs in the seventh inning, including a bomb over the center field fence by Jenna “Pure Athlete” Purichia.

Brooke “The Beast” Belloni collected five hits in five at bats. Belloni singled in the second, singled in the third, doubled in the fourth, singled in the sixth, and doubled in the seventh.

 Faulkenberg started on the mound for the Raiders. She threw two innings, surrendering three runs, and two hits. Carson Heim entered the game in the 3rd and went five innings, allowing ten runs, two hits, and striking out one.
