What fun the Cardinal RitterBowlers had watching and monitoring a pair of lanes November 4th at Woodland Bowl. They watched and “rubbed elbows” with special bowlers on the lane we were assigned while cheering and making new friends. Wow, those athletes never complained on how there were bowling and they had fun competing.
Charles “Trae” Rott and Austin Leiter along with Coach Corky Koch, spent the whole day volunteering. Austin Mohr, Kiersten Burtz, Emily Lanie, Emma Grider, Aliyah Smith and Vania Montoya spent the afternoon having fun too.
Raiders, we have an opportunity to help once more at Western Bowl when the Special Olympics hosts their state final tournament December 4th. This invitation is for any high school bowler and any Cardinal Ritter student that can help from noon to 5:00PM. Coach Koch will be the supervisor for the students.
If you would like to volunteer, contact Coach at 317-796-0015 or his email; firstname.lastname@example.org. The Special Olympics staff would like as many volunteers as they can get during this squad as they would use all 80 lanes for competition.
