The Cardinal Ritter Boys Basketball Team beat rival Indiana Crossroads Conference foe Speedway 85-56 over the Christmas break. The Raiders looked to dismantle the Spark Plugs early and took a 46-27 lead into the first half. “Nasty” Nate Soltis was on the ball from the field making 55% of his shots and scoring 15 on the night.
Four other players also racked up double digit scores for CRHS. Shelby Turner contributed 12 points, Tharran Cook scored 11 and “I can see for” Miles Tracy put up 10. Brice Buels came off the bench and sank 2 threes on his way to scoring 1o as well. Also helping the Raiders effort were Joey “Gamer” Gruber with 7 points and 7 boards, Dan Bayler with 7 points, 1 rebound and 2 steals and Marlon “Hot Shot” Anderson with 2 points and 2 rebounds.
Cardinal Ritter finished the game with 33 rebounds (7 offensive), four block and 12 steals.
