Boys Varsity Baseball · Raiders beat Clinton Prairie 7-0

The Cardinal Ritter Baseball team took a trip to Clinton Prairie to get one last tune-up before the Sectional Tournament and came away with a 7-0 win.  The Raiders worked on different things to prepare themselves for the upcoming week.

Damien “Llama” Wallace pitched the complete game throwing only 77 pitches in the shutout while striking out 8 and only allowing 3 hits.

The offense was led by the trio at the top of the line-up, Jake “The Snake” Kluemper, Joey “Gamer” Gruber and Dillon “Rube” Olejnik who all went 2 for 4.  Klumper led off the game with a triple off the wall while picking up an RBI and Olejnik also added 2 RBI.  Kyle “Kay Pee-Zee” Price chipped in with a double while Jack “Rabbit” Henninger, Grant “G-Man” Eifert and Luke “The Laser” Shearer all added hits with Henninger and Shearer putting an RBI on the board.

The Raiders finished the regular season with a 19-7 record.
