The summer has hit and summer practices around the state have begun.
Members of the Cardinal Ritter Football program have already been working on their skills. They recently were invited to attend the Indiana University 7 on 7 camp. Head Coach Tom Allen and his staff put together a great day where players could be individually coached, while working on team skills. Getting the timing right on offense against quality competition is valuable as the guys work their reads and route running which will pay off in the upcoming season.
Several members of the Cardinal Ritter team; Donavan Morris, Tim Godsil, Jack Henninger, Redi Swails, Mark Kibirige, Aiden Robinson, Jaden Brock, Darrell Roberson, Nick Salmon, Ashton Hall, Nate Cmehil, Brayden Pagel and Rylan Slay took full advantage of preparing for this fall with a jump start to the summer.
Congratulations to the all of the guys on a very productive day. The offensive line has bee working hard and putting things together with Coach Crapo and it will be exciting to see their growth when the season starts.
The Raiders will have an opportunity to improve their skill and technique with a Thud scrimmage against Centerville and Greencastle this week and are enthusiastic to accept the challenge of getting better on the field with each snap.
The realize that focusing on the details and building relationships are attributes that will be called upon to execute in life!
