By Jasmine Cardenas

The Cardinal Ritter boys soccer team played their 6th game of the season Tuesday night at Pike High School.

The JV Raiders started off the game slow but towards the end of the first half started picking it up. During the first half Victor Cervantes scored the only goal making the score 3-1. Despite their best efforts, in the second half the Red Devils scored another goal ending the game with a score of 4-1.

The Varsity Boys Soccer Team started off strong but could not keep up with the Red Devils. They quickly found themselves in a score of 2-0.  The Raiders tried hard from that point on but couldn’t find their chance. By halftime the Red Devils had scored another goal and the raiders were down 3-1 with a lone goal from Jose Chavez.  Once the second half began the Raiders took charge for most of it but still fell behind. The Red Devils scored lat into the second half making the score end score 4-1

The Raiders are back in action Thursday as they travel to University.
