The Cardinal Ritter Raiders Boys Basketball team lost to Crispus Attucks on Friday December 7th by the final of 65-63. The Raiders entered halftime up 4, but the Tigers came out hot in the 3rd quarter connecting on five 3 pointers in the period. The Raiders fought back, in the forth, but their comeback attempt fell just short. Leading the Raiders was “Nasty” Nate Soltis with 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 steals. Dan “O-Mite” Bayler and Damon “Old Oak” Oagletree added 12, and Marlon “Hot Shot” Anderson, Jr. was also in double figures finishing with 10 on the night.
The Raiders will be back in action this weekend when they travel to Indy Metropolitan to take on the Pumas. JV will start at 6pm, and Varsity will follow at 730. The Raiders open up conference play on Saturday night when we host the Lutheran Saints. This game will be a triple header with Freshman starting at 430pm, JV at 6, and Varsity at 730pm.
