Girls Varsity Softball · #3 Softball Goes Undefeated In ICC Play; Wins First Title

The Cardinal Ritter Softball Team won the first Indiana Crossroads Conference Championship in school history clinching with a 10-0 rout of Triton Central.  The Lady Raiders looked simply marvelous as they put up 15 hits, invoking the mercy rule scoring 10 runs in 5 innings.

Taylor “The Falcon” Faulkenberg picked up the complete game win, striking out 8 and only allowing 4 hits.  Annie “The Natural” Kluemper decided she didn’t want to make an out as she went 4 for 4 with 2 triples, 2 runs and 3 RBI.  Abby “Boom” Blastic followed suit going 3 for 3 with a double and 3 RBI.  Chloe “Ole… Ole, Ole,” Olejnik went 2 for 3 with an RBI, the “McTwins” of Emma Mckee and Megan McCall “Me Maybe” each added to the offense with Mckee picking up 2 hits while Lauren “Steamin” Beaman, Kelsey Waggoner and Fualkenberg also added hits.

Great job Raiders!
