Girls Varsity Softball · Softball Dominates On Senior Night

The Cardinal Ritter Softball Team put on an offensive show for the fans as they honored their lone senior on senior night.  Taylor “The Falcon” Faulkenberg, the lone senior of the 2019 team, was amazing as she showed why she will finish this season with one of the greatest careers in Lady Raiders history.  She pitched a complete game win striking out 11 and giving up no earned runs while going 2 for 3 at the plate with a double and 2 RBI.  Watching this CRHS softball team rally around their senior has been amazing to see, and the senior night game against Pike was evidence of their camaraderie.

The Raider Nation honored her achievements before the game, showering her with applause that she righteously deserves.  Before the game, Taylor’s mother threw out the first pitch.  Check out a video of the action here: Softball Senior Night 2 (1)

Lauren “Steamin'” Beaman was hot at the plate going 3 for 3 with 3 RBI.  Annie “The Natural” Kluemper, “Raking” Riley Heim and Kelsey Waggoner all had 2 hits and a double.  Adding hits were Melisa Matthews, Emma Hunt, Jessica Bontempo and the “McTwins” of Emma Mckee and Megan McCall “Me Maybe.”
