On Friday night, the boys of fall lost a hard fought game against the Brebeuf Braves. The stands were packed, the student section was pumped, and the Raiders came out strong.  on the offense and taking the ball to the Braves for the first few minutes of the game. Even after the Braves had scored a few touchdowns, the Raiders managed to keep their spirits up and continue pushing the ball down the field attempting to score.  The defense was outstanding again only giving up a couple of more yards of total offense than Cardinal Ritter gained.

Aiden Robinson, who had his first work coming back from injury, had a long reception from Jack “Rabbit” Henninger down the field where it appeared the Raiders had scored their first touchdown, but unfortunately it had to be taken off the scoreboard due to a flag on the play which ended up being a major momentum swing in the game.

For the remainder of the game, the Raiders played hard defense and had good offensive runs, but were unsuccessful in their scoring effort, coming up short 40-0.

The defense was led by Austin Sultzer who 5 tackles plus a sack and an interception.  Parker “Master P” Mead and Gavin Crooke each had 4 tackles and Timmy Godsil, Jordan Johnson, Elie Gerth and James Highsaw all had 3 a piece.

Ashton “The Round Mound Of Touchdown” Hall was a load coming from out of the backfield, running for 108 yards on 19 carries.  Henninger led the passing game throwing for 120 yards.  Robinson led the receiving corps catching 3 balls for 57 yards and Brayden Pagel added one monster catch fro 39 yards.

Come see the boys back in action for their big rivalry game Friday against the Speedway Sparkplugs at Marian with kickoff at 7 pm.
