The Cardinal Ritter Raiders Boy’s Varsity Basketball Team defeated The Speedway Sparkplugs 56-37 on Friday night.  The Raiders started the game hot scoring 23 points in the first quarter.  Junior Aidan Cannon got the offense flowing scoring the first 7 points of the ball game.  The Raiders defense powered the offensive explosion forcing 5 steals and allowing zero offensive rebounds in the first half.  Damon “Old Oak” Ogletree led the Raiders with 12 points and 11 rebounds, Austin Sultzer and Cannon both finished with 11 points, and Jordan Turner added 9 points 9 assist and 8 rebounds.

The JV Raiders also beat Speedway by the final of 46-42.  Freshman Mikial Miller provided a big offensive and defensive spark for the Raiders, and Sophomore Donovan Royster connected on back to back 3 pointers in the 4th quarter to put the game out of reach.
The Raiders are back in action Friday on the road vs Monrovia, and Saturday on the road again vs Scecina.
