Boys Varsity Basketball · Raiders Lose With One Second To Go

The Cardinal Ritter Raiders Boys Basketball team lost a close game to the Park Tudor Panthers on Tuesday night, 58-59.  In a game that saw the Raiders lead the majority of the night a late Panther run ending with a made free throw with 1 second left ended up being the deciding factor.
The Raiders did have 1 final shot to win the game, but a half court heave from Raiders Sophomore Zion Williams was on target, but landed just short.
The Raiders were led by Senior Damon “Old Oak” Ogletree 6th consecutive double double.  Ogletree finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds.  Sophomore Austin Sultzer finished with 12, Junior Aidan Cannon had 11, and Williams added 10.
The Raiders are back in action Friday at home when they will take on Roncalli on Night Watch. There will be a lot going on throughout the night so get there early to reserve your seat.
Go Raiders!!
