Our next senior to be showcased is Jordan Peterson. Jordan was attempted to take his golf skills that he had been working on in the past couple of years and try to apply them for the first time this summer before the season was cancelled. Jordan played baseball his freshman and sophomore year, but felt he could be even more successful at golf because of the time he had put in.
Coach Jones said of Jordan, “Jordan informed me in class one day this past fall that he planned to join the golf team in the spring. I asked him what type of scores he would normally shoot, and he gave me an answer with some respectable numbers. I told him those sounded like reasonably good scores, and he should definitely come out for the team. He joined the other boys during the winter clinic, and from what I could see from his swing, I felt he could be a great asset to the team. I feel like he was going to one of about four or five players battling for the number 5 or 6 spot on the team to compete in our matches.”
