Boys Varsity Golf · Jack Radecki: Spring Sports Senior Showcase

Our next senior being showcased is senior golfer, Jack Radecki.  Jack has previously played tennis here at Cardinal Ritter and decided to take his talents to the golf course this year.  Jack had played previously for fun with friends, while doing so, he realized he could help the team succeed.

Coach Jones said of Jack, “Jack joined the golf program during the winter of his senior year. Prior to this, he had not participated in another high school spring sport. After a few days in our winter clinic, my question to him was ‘why haven’t you been playing before now?'”  This shows just how good Jack could have been.

“Under the circumstances we will never know how well he could have played under the pressures of competition.”  Coach Jones said about the possibilities and added, “From scores he gave me from rounds he played in the fall with friends, I feel like he would have definitely been a top-5 player for us this season.”

Coach Jones wonders would could have been by saying, “I believe from what I had been told, and from what I saw during the clinics that he definitely was going to be a solid contributor to our team. But for now, we just have to use our imaginations to think of what might have been.”

Here is a little more about Jack:

His parents are Beth and Ryan Radecki

His future plans are to go to college for physical therapy and become a physical therapist.

His most memorable Cardinal Ritter experiences were being Latin Club president for a week and making all city this year in Tennis.

Jack will miss driving the freshman to practice every day while bumping to Yung Gravy

Thanks Jack!
