Boys Varsity Swimming · Boys Swim Finishes Season With 2 New Records

Congratulations to the Boys Swimming & Diving team on finishing their season Saturday at the Pike Sectional meet.  Every member of the team, swam a Season or Personal Best time this past Thursday & Saturday.

The highlight of the meet was the New 100 Butterfly Record set by Cameron Knipe & the New 200 Freestyle Relay Record set by Knipe, Ethan “Lionfish” Lettich, Nicholas Mark & Cole Treado.  Knipe was able to smash the old record by over 2 seconds & the 200 Free Relay of Knipe, Lettich, Mark & Treado erased a 7 year record by over 3 seconds, giving the Raiders a 3rd place podium finish.  The 200 Medley Relay of Lettich, Paulo Rodriguez, Cameron Knipe & Cole Treado were able to come up big and finish 3rd, placing them on the podium too.  Freshman Billy Macleod dropped over 24 seconds in the 500 Free placing 14th for the Raiders; while senior Jake McDonald had a lifetime best for his split of the 400 Free Relay.

The team would like to thank Seniors Ethan Lettich, Paulo Rodriguez & Jake McDonald for a great year.
