The Cardinal Ritter boys volleyball team faced off against the Herron Archaeans on Thursday night in an Indy Metro Conference match. The Raiders were eager to get revenge for a tough loss they suffered to Herron in their previous matchup, and so they came out of the gate aggressive and looking to put the game away. Overall, it was a quick match with the Raiders winning in straight sets (25-14, 25-12, 25-14). Dylan Poore once again led the team in kills with 15, while Farai Mukona added 7 more of his own, and Patrick Van Gheem had excellent ball distribution, ending with 29 assists. Carson Vrabel was extremely efficient for the night and ended with a 0.667 hitting percentage on 6 attempts, and also notched 2 aces from the service line. Owen Sulecki was a force at the net, leading the team with 3 blocks, while libero Mark Adolay kept the ball off the floor with 10 digs.
